How Meep works
- Meep is an AI routine helper, not a clinician or an emergency service. It can't know whether medication was taken, only what was recorded.
- Without AI, Meep understands common requests with built-in rules. The optional on-device model (Gemma 3 1B, open weights) downloads once to your browser and runs there, so your messages to Meep are processed on your device. On phones that can't run it, you can turn on Cloud AI instead: then only the message you type to Meep is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI (an open-weight Gemma model).
- Answers about your routine come from your actual records through the same permission checks as the rest of Meeply, and every answer shows its source.
- Meep only drafts. Routines, records and check-ins are saved or sent only when you confirm, using the app's normal actions.
- Supporters only ever see what the person chose to share. If access is removed or a Circle plan lapses, Meep stops showing that information immediately.
Does Meeply tell me what dose to take?
No. Meeply saves your instructions exactly as you enter them. It never calculates, changes or suggests doses.
Can my caregiver see everything?
Only what you allow, per person and per medication. You can change or remove access at any time, and it takes effect immediately.
What if I'm offline?
If you turn on offline access, you can record on a trusted device and Meeply syncs when you reconnect.
Can Meeply remind me when the app is closed?
Yes. Once notification setup is complete on a supported device, Meeply can send reminders while the app is closed. You can also enable email backup and, with Meeply Circle, alerts to your chosen supporters. Your device permissions, connection, and notification settings still affect delivery.
Not confirmed yet
"Not confirmed yet" means nothing has been recorded — not that a dose was missed.
Correct this record
Corrections are kept in the history with the original report. Undoing won't send old reminders again.
Lock-screen detail
Lock screens can be seen by others. Private is the default.
Sticker
Print a sticker for the bottle or box. Scanning opens this medication in Meeply after you sign in — it never records anything by itself. The code is a random link. It contains no medication name or dose and grants no access on its own.
Privacy lock
Ask for a PIN before showing Meeply on this device. This hides the screen; it does not encrypt stored data.
Delete my account
This permanently deletes your Meeply account and data. Sharing and reminders stop immediately. We'll remove your records, private photos and device subscriptions, end everyone's access, and cancel any subscription with Stripe. Stripe keeps its own billing records as required by law.
